What does Photo Restore do?
It repairs scratches, tears, dust, and fading on old photos, and can gently denoise and sharpen. Presets cover damage fix, faded revive, denoise/sharpen, and full restore.
How is this different from Photo Enhancer or Colorize?
Restore targets damage and aging (scratches, yellowing, missing patches). Enhancer sharpens/upscales modern shots. Colorize adds color to B&W. Pair Restore then Colorize for old family scans.
Does it keep the subject?
Yes. Prompts tell the model to keep facial identity and composition exact — repair and revive only. Optional Notes can call out problem areas (tear on the left, water stain).
