Frequently asked questions

How many credits?
Each expand uses about 155 credits. Buy more anytime on the pricing page—the $5 Starter pack covers roughly 32 expands.
What does Generative Expand do?
It uncrops / outpaints your photo: AI extends the canvas beyond the original edges and fills new areas with matching background, lighting, and texture. Presets cover landscape, tall story, square social, and zoom-out.
How is this different from Background Remover or Object Remover?
Expand grows the frame outward (uncrop). Background Remover cuts the subject onto a clean plate. Object Remover deletes things inside the frame. Use Image Assistant for freeform edit prompts.
Does it keep the original subject?
Yes. Prompts tell the model to keep the subject, faces, logos, and source pixels exact — only the new border areas should be generated. Optional Notes can steer what to continue (sky, floor, space for text).
